Cyber-Psychosis & The Consequences of Corrupted Archetypes | Chance Garton on Tactical Sovereignty

 

Bryan Parker of Tactical Sovereignty had me on for a presentation of sorts, where I discussed the concept of Cyber-Psychosis, a plot concept from the recent video game Cyberpunk 2077. As a metaphor, cyber-psychos are symbolic of our over-identification with the (fictional) digital identity, and an ever worsening corruption of our relationship to archetypes (Nature/Self).

Stick around to the latter part of the video to see some of the re-imagined Major Arcana of the Tarot, as depicted in the fictional world of Cyberpunk 2077, and how these archetypes have been diminished by humanity's co-dependent relationship with technology.
