Unslaved Interviews | Virtual Unreality: Video Games & The Occult
I was recently interviewed on Unslaved Podcast, a show hosted by David Whitehead and Michael Tsarion. In the two episodes I was on, we talked about video games, a subject I’m all-too-familiar with. To access these interviews, you’ve got to be a member of their site for $6 per month. Their content is quite good and worth the price of admission, but if you just want to see my shows there, you can always sign up for just a month.
I created slides to present an original research program called Virtual Unreality. In this presentation, I wove a hypothesis linking the negative/corrupted aspects of Gnosticism to the phenomenon of scientific materialism and its pseudo-gnostic offspring, simulation theory.
Some topics that came up in the shows:
Final Fantasy 7 - A full-on Gnostic Allegory, rife with Judeo-Kabbalistic Mystic Symbolism
The Witcher - Monsters, the Cult of the Black Sun, and the female Illuminati
Simulation Theory - Origins in Gnosticism hybridization with scientific Materialism
Artificial Realities - Gematria/Numerology analysis and the numbers that encode the human world, and transcendental numbers
The Matrix - The One vs. The Many and the Cosmic Egg
Halo - The Transhumanism Romance with cyborg humans and AI lovers
Cyberpunk 2077 - Transhumanism/Transgenderism, Body Dysphoria & Self Hate
World of Warcraft - The surrogate womb, living inside artificial worlds, and the psychology of the hardcore gamer
There’s much more than I can summarize briefly here, but I hope you go check out these episodes. I put a lot of effort into them. Someday I will translate this thesis into content for my own channels, but if you want to see it now, go subscribe to Unslaved!
