Allen Marcus & Slick Dissident | A Thrice Great Fire For The Common Cold War
Today I will be joined by fellow fire sign freedom fighters Allen Marcus and Gabriel (aka Slick Dissident) for some hot syncro-mystic decode action. Flow is the only agenda, but when you swim live-streams of consciousness with Strength like these two firemen carry, the gnosis will surely drip like honey combs in the kingdom of Bee-ing.

Core themes
A Live I Ching Coin Toss
Allen Marcus opens the show by having all three men flip coins on camera, one line of an I Ching hexagram per round, with heads for an unbroken line and tails for a broken one. The toss lands on hexagram 35, Progress, fire over earth, which Chance says he had already drawn from his deck that morning, and two changing lines turn it into hexagram 2, the Receptive, pure yin. Chance admits he cannot explain how it works; he just wants viewers to see that magic is not something you control. Later readings follow Treading into Sincerity around the new moon.
Calendars, Commerce and the New Uniform
A question about why October, whose name means eight, sits tenth in the Gregorian calendar opens a thread on how timekeeping was reorganized around Roman feast days and why the day is said to begin at an unseen midnight. Gabe calls the calendar a master stroke toward global governance and a uniform commercial code, which he traces to Catalonia, and he reads Catalan demands for autonomy as a shaking of that foundation. In his view people are now expected to wear a new uniform to do commerce in person, and a mask becomes a persona.
Dune, Artifice and the Creative Spark
Allen notes that Frank Herbert's birthday falls on the day of the stream, and uses Dune's war on thinking machines, which leads to humans bred as mentats, to argue that reality is not a mechanistic clockwork set by Greenwich time servers. Chance counters that art sits at the root of both artificial and technology, and he says Dune's characters only get creative in order to survive or wage war, a fire with no water. He sets it against The Neverending Story, where creativity means forgetting what you knew to reach the flow. Talk later turns to Dune's long history of screen adaptations and adult actors playing the teenage Paul Atreides.
Numbers, Names and Synchronicity
The trio reads the day itself as a sign: an eight eight day, since October was once the eighth month, with 108 turning up in the date and on a rosary, and a Dune reference landing at 44 minutes 44 seconds. Gabe describes a life full of sevens, from his birth year to his name, and ties seven times seven to forgiveness. Jung's idea of acausal synchronicity is illustrated with ducks mocking a selfie in the background, Chance's own name is read as a chain of chance, and Chance reveals that InnerVerse, first published December 10, 2015, is a Sagittarius.
Crowley, 93 and the Will of I Am
One guest argues that the nine months in the womb deserve honoring alongside the birth date, and the number 93 leads to Highway 93 and the Betty and Barney Hill case, then to Aleister Crowley, whose Thelemic followers greet each other with 93. The group runs Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law through gematria and argues that the phrase has been cut off from its source in love. In the reading offered here, the will that matters is the shared sense of I am-ness, identical in every living being across the fractal.
Quotes

“Part of that is setting our intention, and my intention was I'm gonna get these guys to flip a coin with me.”
“I think it was a master stroke to initiate a global governance and a uniform commercial code, so that a nation upon which the sun never sets could come into existence.”
“Frank Herbert's birthday, the author of Dune, happens to fall on this very day in our current calendar system.”
“Commerce is based in your person, you do it in person, right? And then a mask is a persona.”
“Determined to state that this reality is not mechanistic, it is not a series of gears and clockwork that runs according to a clock maker.”
“As a Leo, I'm very auditory. I love to roar, I love to sing, I love to speak truth and say very provocative things.”
“We have the same root word art in artificial as we do in the arts. This could be a curse placed upon us by the weavers of linguistic dream spells.”
“In the story of Dune they learn a very important lesson in which to not rely on computer algorithms and decision making.”
“In the Dune universe you're seeing a representation of where they're caught in a duality pendulum, where they've gone from the artificial ruling to war against the artificial.”
“I got a lot of seven sevens. Seven by seven is 49, it's the number of forgiveness.”
“You often have to forget everything that you thought you knew to reach that point of source and that spark of the creative, the flow.”
