Brian S. Staveley | A Strange Dose of Reality: Examples and Theories About "The Mandela Effect"

Old school deep-dive conspiracy researcher Brian S. Staveley joins InnerVerse to discuss the ever growing snowball of strangeness known as "The Mandela Effect." Is the past changing? Is reality mutable? We look at the theorized changes in consensus reality, ranging from Mr Rogers to alterations in geography. Particle accelerators, advanced technology emerging in the more distant past, and shifts in brand names and logos are just some of the topics on the table.

In the Plus+ Extension we dig into the why and the how of ME's, exiting the reincarnation cycle by breaking the creation/simulation, COVID ME's, Biblical edits, Anatomy changes, disputation of the CERN = ME narrative, Alchenomics as a possible ME vector, and how Brian took 14 flights during lockdowns without covering his face.

What Brian says the Mandela Effect really is

Brian draws a hard line between rebranded products, reissued DVDs or Bible translations and what he calls a true Mandela Effect: a supernatural, retroactive shift where even the copy in your own attic changes. His lead example is Mr. Rogers now singing "this neighborhood," while Saturday Night Live spoofs, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and even the Tom Hanks film title keep "the neighborhood." He calls that leftover evidence residue, argues the effect is not false memory, and challenges skeptics to debunk cases like Stove Top stuffing instead of waving them away.

2

Forgotten attacks on American soil

Brian's number one Mandela Effect is Black Tom, the 1916 German sabotage in New Jersey he says nobody had heard of, now described with a million pounds of TNT and damage that closed the Statue of Liberty torch. He adds that the torch's 24 karat gold flame and Liberty Island feel wrong to him. He then describes Torpedo Alley, where he says U-boats sank 500 ships off North Carolina, with a war dog named Sinbad as its hero, and a Hamburg particle accelerator also called Sinbad, which he reads as steering people toward CERN.

3

Maps, airliners and technology out of time

Asking listeners where South America sits, Brian claims it now lies about 1,500 miles east, turning the Panama Canal north and south and swelling Cuba toward Mexico. He says airliner engines now hang far forward of the wings, yet pilots, mechanics and doctors seem to get a consciousness update that keeps everything working. He lists color TV in 1935, a 1955 Magnavox wireless remote and German video calls from 1920s post offices, while Chance wonders whether antiquitech finds suggest the past only exists as a function of the present.

4

Names, spellings and logos Brian says shifted

A long run of examples covers Hass avocados, which Brian says still show the old spelling on some store receipts and on a bag he holds up, plus Charles Schulz, Joel Osteen, the missing silent n in dilemma, cemetery, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Bell Biv DeVoe. He adds Chick-fil-A, Bragg vinegar, McIntosh apples, Dalmatians, Skechers, Little Tikes, John Deere and Oscar Mayer, then the Kia lambda and the curl on the Ford F. His recurring invitation is to check the emblem in your own driveway or a logo archive before calling it a rebrand.

5

A fluid reality that need not be feared

Brian closes his half by telling listeners there is nothing to be scared of: in his view no planes have fallen and nobody has been harmed, reality is simply changing and it is time to accept it. He rejects multiverse and alternate timeline explanations for one shared reality in flux. In his outro Chance runs further, comparing memory to a dream that survives only in the parts we retell, suggesting history may be closer to mythology, and wondering whether the truest reality can only be felt through the heart.

Quotes

8 quotes
“The Mandela effect is when something in this physical reality has supernaturally changed, for lack of a better word. It's shifted.”
“At the end of the day, I still think that we should be looking for ways to see our reality as spiritual, as fluid, not stagnant, not trapped in material physicality.”
“It's called residue. It's physical evidence that matches our memory. So it's not just our memory, and it's not just a few people.”
“Everybody's affected because in my opinion, it's the reality that's in flux and we're all in it. One reality.”
“Memory is mutable and thus maybe the past is mutable, because all it ever was was a story anyway.”
“The doctors aren't killing people because organs have moved. It's like they take a consciousness update that goes with this reality to keep it going.”
“Maybe the true reality can only ever be felt through the heart, and it cannot be defined and it cannot be known in an external way. It can only be felt.”
“It doesn't need to be scary, okay? Reality is changing. It's time to accept it and incorporate that into whatever your research is, whatever you're into, because it affects you in many ways.”

Tippecanoe Herbs

Kyle and Serena Denton are community herbalists creating wild-crafted and organic plant medicines out of Milwaukee since 2015. I have used their teas and tinctures on an almost daily basis for years now. Kyle is a great friend of InnerVerse and has appeared on the channel more times than I can count. These products work, not in the allopathic "pharma-medicine" way, but in a terrain-support, consciousness bolstering plant-teacher sort of way.
