Core themes
From Fan Group to Rogue Ways
Lindsey traces her path to hosting back to a fan community built around the Higher Side Chats podcast, where she threw herself into conversation so wholeheartedly that members urged her to host a weekly show about the show. After a few months of that, and more than a decade spent loving shows like Mysterious Universe, she decided to launch Rogue Ways with her own spiritual emphasis, and a couple hundred loyal listeners followed her over. Chance calls this kind of rise story the most inspirational part of podcasting, and Lindsey says their shows differ in style yet view the world alike.
Holding the Middle Ground on the Paranormal
Both hosts describe a deliberate middle position toward the paranormal. Chance says Mysterious Universe stretched his sense of what might be possible for years, until a truth radar switched on and the show became a place to sharpen discernment instead of simply believing. Lindsey, who says she has been steeped in unusual experiences all her life, prizes voices that neither dismiss everything nor swallow everything, noting that some claims are simply made up. Chance muses that paranormal and supernatural may just mean unrecognized normal, a clue hidden inside the words themselves.
Contact Stories, Conditioning and Layered Traps
Chance and Lindsey compare notes on how contact stories arrive with a message attached. Lindsey observes that UFO sightings always sit slightly ahead of current technology, airships a century ago and impossible lights today, and she separates these from the fairy and shamanic encounters that look alike across cultures, suspecting the technological kind serves social engineering. Chance links that to ideological subversion and layered awakening nets, while Lindsey adds that every trap, once taken apart, leaves you stronger. Chance also floats the view that even lies work as neutral tools.
Wogies, Orbs and Conscious Lights
Asked for her concrete view, Lindsey says she does not know that space exists as described and suspects the cosmos she once toured with entities may be a construct of consciousness. She holds that the beings she meets are conscious but not physical, closer to ether, plasma or light, and uses the shamanic word wogies for the orbs she says have changed shape in front of her and been seen by others. Chance recalls three people and a baby watching white orbs rise from the ground during the 2017 eclipse, and Lindsey suggests angels, demons and fairies may be different names for the same thing.
Guides, Blue Wolf and the Quiet Channel
On guides, Lindsey says you can call on the feeling of anything you genuinely love, whether Gandalf or a cherished dog, because the feeling counts for more than the category. Her own long relationship began with a blue wolf, and she also holds conversations with waterfalls, rocks and trees. Chance describes sudden spoken inspiration that arrives only when he switches everything off, and both agree meditation works best without goals or expectations. Lindsey closes by assuring listeners that wherever they are is where they are meant to be, so there is no need to stress.
Quotes
“At a certain point, the truth radar finally clicked on for me, somewhere inside. And at that point, the discernment was just constant.”
“No matter how many times you wake up, there's still some aspect of the trap there waiting for you.”
“Maybe there's no such thing as paranormal, maybe it's just unrecognized normal.”
“We have all these words and categories and things, but they matter a lot less than the feelings attached to them do.”
“Sometimes you just need to be in a moment wherever that moment is and have silence where it sort of naturally would be. And then bam, something's there.”
“I think the meditation that most people are talking about most of the time, the goal of it is to just more fully sink into what you actually are in your nature.”
“Even if nothing happens with your meditation, you still have the belief that you have enough time to do nothing. And that's a very empowering belief.”
“Where you're at is where you're supposed to be and what you're experiencing is perfectly good and true and beautiful and normal.”
