Light and Dark Signs in World War Zero

Michael describes World War Zero, the YouTube series that first grew his channel, as a study of light and dark in the zodiac, with fire and air as the masculine light signs and earth and water as the feminine dark ones. He admits he was more polarized when he made it and used to demonize his own Capricorn moon, and now says darkness gives context while light can be used to blind. His double agents, or yin yang apprentices, carry the sun and moon on opposite sides, and by his whole sign reading Chance's Aries sun and Libra moon keep him purely on the light side.

2

A War on Consciousness and Feeling

Chance frames the war on consciousness at the heart of World War Zero as a war on feeling and natural rhythm, with artificial calendars replacing a simple look at the moon and words standing in for empathy. Michael, who says he is obsessed with language, agrees that words can obstruct feeling, and argues that convincing someone to hold a false image of themselves wins the battle without any weapons. Both push back on stoic spirituality: Michael calls the divine some of the biggest trolls, and Chance says team light's synchronicities make you laugh, while manufactured ones feel like threats.

3

Progressed Charts and Leveling Up

Michael, who once dismissed progressions as junk astrology, explains that in a progressed chart the sun advances about a degree a year and the moon about a degree a month. He compares it to leveling up in Pokemon: born a Gemini, he now has a progressed Cancer sun and Pisces moon while keeping his Gemini personality. He says his progressed moon crossing his ninth house cusp lined up with his return to college, and he reads Chance as now progressed into Taurus, which Chance connects to getting relationships, love and wealth right since around age 30.

4

Tropical Versus Sidereal Astrology

Asked where he stands, Michael argues that zodiac signs come from the seasons, set by where the sun's ecliptic path crosses the Earth's equator, rather than from the constellations, so he calls much sidereal practice placebo astrology and prefers Vedic nakshatras read on tropical placements. He challenges listeners to quiz any astrologer on the ecliptic and the equator. Chance suggests sidereal may suit the external, such as astrological ages or a country's chart, while tropical fits a personal birth chart. Michael adds his view that astrology's science is the math of angles between cycles, and its art is the interpretation.

5

Hard Aspects, Boundaries and Knowing Your Worth

Michael calls the fatalistic fear of squares and oppositions misleading: in his view a square, like Aries wanting to act alone while Capricorn represents a corporation, forces a tension that has to be resolved, and the opposition is completion. He says charts full of trines and sextiles can look great on paper yet fizzle. Chance adds that squares show where to act despite hesitation. On knowing your worth, Michael rejects the idea that spiritual work should be given away free, pointing to basic supply and demand, and Chance links healthy boundaries to the solar plexus, which he calls a treasure chest.

Tippecanoe Herbs

Kyle and Serena Denton are community herbalists creating wild-crafted and organic plant medicines out of Milwaukee since 2015. I have used their teas and tinctures on an almost daily basis for years now. Kyle is a great friend of InnerVerse and has appeared on the channel more times than I can count. These products work, not in the allopathic "pharma-medicine" way, but in a terrain-support, consciousness bolstering plant-teacher sort of way.
