Core themes
Rockefeller and Medicine, in Clive's View
Clive de Carle argues that money, not health, shaped modern medicine. In his telling, Rockefeller, who owned oil and much of the press by the 1920s, found he could make pharmaceuticals from oil and paid schools of homeopathy, acupuncture and herbalism to drop their teaching, and he says England's 1939 Cancer Act then restricted who could treat cancer. He claims the average doctor gets about four hours of health study in five years, and recounts doctors he interviewed describing cover-ups in training and a Harvard professor admitting half the teaching was wrong. Chance calls it a medical mafia and points listeners to James Corbett's documentary Rockefeller Medicine.
Clive on How Modern Food Went Wrong
Clive describes a world two centuries ago where villages ate fresh, local, seasonal food and supplements were rarely needed. He dates the decline to around 1850, blaming cottonseed and other cooking oils, then processed carbohydrates and sugar, and he links unnatural fats to dementia. He argues that dwarf wheat and glyphosate spraying, rather than gluten itself, explain widespread wheat problems, and calls bread before a meal a restaurant trick to make you hungrier. Chance shares his rule that food not organic and local barely counts as food, says getting used to its cost early makes it easier, and warns that some organic labels trace back to big food companies.
Fulvic Minerals and Magnesium, Clive's Staples
Clive's two favorite supplements get the longest airing. He describes fulvic minerals as a water extract of soil from a small deposit in the United States he says is around 30 million years old, claims they help cells release toxins and take in trace elements and that they neutralize glyphosate, and warns against mixing them with chlorinated or fluoridated water. If he could recommend only one supplement, he says, it would be magnesium, which he links to cramps, sleep, anxiety and heart function, arguing that calcium lets muscle contract while magnesium lets it relax. He cautions that cheap magnesium oxide works poorly and that most bottles suggest too little.
Everyday Detox and the Colon Cleanse
Asked about cleansing, Clive says the point today is less a harsh ten day detox than detoxing every day, starting with working bowels, a healthy liver and enough water. He suggests raw vegan eating may suit someone overweight while meat, fish, dairy and eggs build up someone thin, and names vitamin C, charcoal and sulfur-rich foods such as eggs, onions and garlic as his tools against toxins and heavy metals. Chance recalls a colon cleanse with bentonite clay from his early episode Metaphysical Dumps, Clive describes a coconut water, clay and psyllium fast in Thailand, and Chance ties physical lightness to spiritual growth.
The Secret Health Club and Censorship
Clive explains that around 2014 UK authorities made him take down his YouTube videos, and that he and fellow UK Column contributors saw views fall from about 40,000 to 400, so he moved his material behind a members' club hosted in Iceland. The Secret Health Club, he says, holds concise videos on topics like Tesla era technology and the sounds newborn babies use, with a forum and a USB version coming. He says UK rules bar him from making almost any claims about his products. Chance, who got a YouTube strike over a guest's website containing the word healing, argues health is censored because it is the linchpin of control.
Quotes
“So many of the keys to health actually cost nothing. Most people don't get enough sunshine, you know, that's free.”
“My philosophy about it was the younger and sooner I get accustomed to eating correctly, whatever the cost, the better I'll get at doing that.”
“If I only had one supplement to recommend, it would be magnesium. It is the most useful single supplement of the lot.”
“These days it's not that we should do a harsh 10-day detox necessarily, but we should be aware that we've got to be detoxing every day of the year.”
“This health component, the reason it's so heavily censored is because it's the linchpin of every other aspect of the control paradigm.”
“People don't realize how incredible the technology over 100 years ago is compared to now. We assume that technology now must be better than the old stuff, but it's just not true.”
“If I were to go selling water and I would make a claim that water is wet, I could get two years jail for that.”
“The more healthy your body gets, the more flexible your thinking will become.”
