Matt Landman | Unmasking The Truth and Breaking The Hex On Our Breath
Matt Landman returns to bring a little silver lining to our perspectives. In this episode we talk about his EMF shielding apparel (Spero Protection Clothing), the 5G rollout, and why wearing a mask as we've been instructed to do is not in our best interests. We also cover the deep importance of breath, some of the symbolic/historical significance of masks, and the accelerating plan to divide people through mainstream news and social media.

Core themes
Silver Thread and the Road to Spero
Matt traces his clothing company to Arizona, where he hosted a Tucson conference and protest against a planned sun-dimming experiment and watched cell towers disguised as cactuses go up. City hall meetings led him to shielding fabric: he went to Asia looking for copper cloth and found steel, copper-plated and silver-woven versions, which he says are commonly used for maternity aprons in Japan, Korea and China. He describes dropping a phone mid-call into a silver-lined pouch until no signal gets through, argues that millimeter-sized 5G waves absorb into the body, and Chance contrasts a gentle ocean swell with boiling water.
Grounding, Rubber Soles and the Gong
Matt calls grounding a simple mitigation that keeps coming up in his research, describes it as simple skin contact with moist dirt, grass, a river or the beach, and plans conductive shoes made from hemp, corn or mushroom material instead of rubber. Chance reaches for an image: a struck gong rings on in the air but falls silent the moment it is set on a table, which is how he pictures a body shedding a built-up charge. Chance casts rubber soles as one more way of isolating people from nature, and suggests a wooden walking stick, or a wizard's staff, as a workaround.
Masks, Rules and a Face Shown in Public
Chance argues that, to the subconscious, a masked stranger has long signalled a bandit or an elite masquerade. Matt reads aloud from a sheet of tennis and pickleball rules he tore off a wall in Santa Rosa, and talk turns to a British government modeller who reportedly stepped down after breaking the lockdown rules his models helped justify. Matt describes refusing to wear a mask at Safeway and a farmers market and calls showing his face the most revolutionary act he has ever done, and he likens today's polarized fights to the war over the top of the egg in Gulliver's Travels.
Breath and the Slogan Chance Calls a Hex
Chance frames the episode around what he calls the hex of the I Can't Breathe slogan, while insisting that questioning the narrative is not indifference to police brutality, and argues that wearing the words on a mask deepens the curse. He recommends James Nestor's book Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art, and argues that chronic mouth breathing changes the shape of the face and that snoring stems from poor daytime breathing rather than nature. He adds that when the controllers do one thing they are doing fifty, and challenges listeners to name a time rights taken away were ever given back.
When Activism Gets Hijacked
Matt argues that activism has been taken over and polarized, that some so-called activists are hired to show up and loot, and that others may be funded by George Soros. He says his usual pitch, a flyer for his free documentary FrankenSkies, now meets a climate where raising weather modification or questioning COVID makes him almost the enemy, which Chance puts down to not parroting the narrative. He recalls his first glossy chemtrail flyers nearly all being binned, and standing alone in Arcata to tell officials that other communities had said no to 5G and so could they. Plant that seed, he says, and one voice counts.
Quotes
“Everything is kind of this spiritual journey and we're all kind of evolving children and all this. And just because we didn't know one thing doesn't mean we can't switch out of it.”
“The real point of transhumanism isn't about merging with machines to become a god. It's about turning humans into machines so that they can be controlled by the ones that want to be God.”
“If you can just plant that seed and get that ball rolling, you have no idea what kind of impact you can have, but it's really up to you because it's your community.”
“When have rights ever been given back that were taken away? Please name a time and tell me about that. I'd like to know when that's ever happened.”
“I have to make a stand of some sort, and no one is going to prevent me from showing my face wherever I go.”
“The crowd is untruth and spirituality has never been about doing what everyone else is doing. It's always been about individuality and the truth over the beliefs of the masses.”
“It's not even like my gut is always right. It's like my gut is right. There's not a percentage or anything. It's like truth has a frequency, and it's in my soul.”
“To be frank, it's hard to step up and say, “I'm going to be an activist,” especially with your friends, family, and peers saying, “What are you, crazy?””
