The PhD Physicist Who Realized Modern Science is a Myth | Steven Young (Hedflux)
Is modern physics a collection of theoretical myths? Steven Young, a PhD nuclear physicist, joins the InnerVerse to dismantle the "Tower of Babel" that is modern scientism. From the refutation of Atomism and Nuclear Myth to the "Space Sex Hex," we are peeling back the layers of worldview warfare to find the truth underneath.
Steven Young (Hedflux) shares his journey from the heart of the academic establishment to becoming a musical alchemist. We decode why "Young’s Framework" proves that modern science doesn't produce "fruit," but instead creates a nihilistic separation between the soul and the cosmos.

Core themes
Creativity as the Spiritual Path
Chance opens on his long held view that the mystery of the generative power sits at the core of all mythology, religion and science, and Steven Young answers that as a working physicist he never had to be creative, only to study and respond to what he was taught. Becoming a full time artist, facing the question of what to create each day, is what moved him from a belief in evolution to creationism and on to alchemy. Chance recalls the emptiness he felt after college until he began making things, and calls creativity the one universal spiritual path, a way of imitating the creator of the cosmos.
Why Theoretical Physics Produces Nothing
Steve describes being drawn to quantum physics as the capstone of the academic pyramid, starting in astrophysics, switching to theoretical physics in his third year and staying on for a PhD. Twenty years later he says he cannot name a single real world application of atomic theory, quantum physics, relativity or gravity. He separates the positive sciences like engineering, medicine and chemistry, which build and fix things, from a negative science of models and equations that never has to produce anything, and he pictures millions of minds and billions of gigaflops spent every year on fruitless calculations, while many fellow PhD students were simply aiming for investment banking.
Power, Secrets and the True Sciences
Steve points to a counterintelligence effort, and when Chance reads a line from Steve's book saying the conspiracy behind physics is all about power and secrets, Steve ties it to blackmail, where people are tempted, entrapped and filmed so that the most compromised rise to the top and can be steered from the shadows. Against that, Steve names astrology as the true science of the stars and alchemy as the true science of earth, soul sciences of working with your hands and purifying yourself, which he says students are taught to sneer at while being handed astronomy and chemistry instead.
The Pseudoscientific Tower of Babel
Chance puts up his redrawn version of the graphic from Steve's book, which Mark Gober has since named Young's Framework of Social Engineering. Steve walks it down from COVID through superbugs, vaccination, germ theory and evolution, then explains how evolution rests on gravity, gravity on heliocentrism, and both on the atom, since the solar system is drawn on the same model as the atom. He argues atomism makes everything real separate from everything else and once justified hedonism among the ancient atomists, while Chance points to the ground floor beneath the tower, music, alchemy, agriculture and natural law, and reads the Big Bang as the old cosmic egg.
Nukes, Particles and the Four Forces
Asked directly about nukes, Steve says Hiroshima and Nagasaki were rebuilt soon after the bombs and that Chernobyl kept operating for years, and he cites Galen Windsor, who handled uranium and plutonium with no harm he could see. Steve argues Geiger counters register a frequency of radiation rather than particles, that dropping particles dissolves the famous paradoxes, and that of the four fundamental forces only electromagnetism is real. Chance notes that CERN shares its consonants with Kronos, and Steve closes the free hour saying there is no limit to how big a chemical bomb can be, but that nuclear fallout is a myth used to frighten people.
Quotes
“I can honestly say I don't believe there's a single real world application of atomic theory, nuclear theory, quantum physics, relativity, gravity, any of it.”
“I've often said it's the mystery of the generative power that is the core of all mythology, all religion, and indeed all science.”
“The true science of the stars is astrology, and the true science of earth is alchemy.”
“Creativity is the only thing that you could say is truly the universal spiritual path that is common to all men.”
“If everything is made from these little hard balls of matter, then basically that means everything real is separate from everything else.”
“One of the worst things that ever happened to the human psyche is being told that they were fallen.”
“When you realize there's no particles, all the paradoxes just go away.”
“We're told from physics that there's four fundamental forces, the strong nuclear, the weak nuclear, the electromagnetic and gravity. And I would say that three of those are not real.”
