1

Jupiter and Neptune Meet in Pisces

Emily Ridout said that a Jupiter and Neptune conjunction in Pisces, going exact in April, was nudging people toward an expanded level of consciousness. She described Jupiter as expansion and Neptune as the dreamscape and escapism, and said a new moon with Chiron and Mercury was asking people to heal how they communicate and think. When asked whether the season was cyclical, Emily answered that some of it repeats yearly while the Jupiter and Neptune pairing was a once in a lifetime event. Homie Romie said the past days had been full of synchronicities.

2

Ignatius, Names, and the Fire Symbol

Homie Romie described finding three significant historical figures named Ignatius, whom he said were all born within a few weeks of one another across many centuries, and he asked the panel what to make of it. Emily Ridout answered that names have meaning and tied Ignatius to flame and to igneous rock, then to the purity linked with fire and the alchemical white ash. She added that Scorpio, a water sign, held the flame in the water and was raw material for creating. The group enjoyed the wordplay and anagram links raised in the live chat.

3

Resonant Architecture and the Body

Homie Romie shared a new idea that ancient resonant architecture corresponded to the systems of the human body. He argued that cathedrals, capitol buildings, and libraries might map onto the chakras, and that each building captured and dispersed energy the way a body does. The group joined the game of assigning each building type a chakra, with amphitheaters and coliseums among the suggestions. Gabe suggested cathedrals might be the lungs, noting that people marry in them, and Emily Ridout added that planets and the seven sacraments also lined up with the chakras.

4

Emily on Astro Yoga and Subtle Bodies

Emily Ridout described her work as an astro yoga specialist who reads charts and trains students in how planets relate to chakras and the energy body. She said a system gives the body a language to speak through. She then introduced the koshas as nested layers from the food body to the bliss body, argued that people get stuck in one layer, and described samskaras as scars of experience that practice can burn away. Chance and Gabe kept the conversation moving with questions, and Emily also described measuring chakras with a pendulum.

5

Bhagavad Gita and Tropical Astrology

Answering Gabe's question about warrior poses, Emily Ridout retold the Bhagavad Gita, in which the warrior Arjuna hesitates before battle and Krishna reminds him of his duty, and she said the warrior poses reflect that dharmic duty. Later she explained her preference for tropical astrology as more accurate to life on Earth, and she said sidereal helped show a larger picture. Emily stressed choosing a system consciously and called an intact tradition a treasure. She said running a business, not astrology, was the hardest part of her work.

Quotes

“It has been such a soup, such a stew, a slow cook, a simmer, a soapy brew that has been happening the past four or five days. Wow, I mean, I can't even touch on how melty my noodle is. There's so much going on, but it's okay, it's fine. The timing on how everything plays out is absolutely divine.”
“There's still just one chance, but we have an awesome assortment tonight. We got the homie Romie for the first hour from Rising From The Ashes podcast and our excellent friend, Emily Ridout, very frequent guest on the InnerVerse.”
“Names have meaning. People don't like to think that they do because our parents gave us our names and it feels out of our control. And we like to subscribe to the narrative that we made ourselves because we're all idiots, right? Like we're like, well, I'm a self-made person.”
“The way that the cyclical nature of all this astrology works is just baffling, you know, and it's so constant, so fast and continuous and so in sync. It's almost like a simulation, right? Because it's so in sync with just this natural algorithm, this cosmic algorithm that's just been blasting off since forever.”
“I'm excited to have you for just the one on one where we do some deep dive on your research, man. You're always welcome on the Vibe Rant. It's just, you know, we have this conflicting podcast host schedule thing where we're both doing Wednesday night things. I'm really glad you're here. If I didn't make that clear, you are the man.”
“Maybe lungs. Blue because, for one, it's where people get married. So two different blood types come together, the blue and the red blood mingles in the spirit is the breath.”
“I think how these ancient cities, these resonant cities were built, was to basically correspond with the body and the systems of the body. And so each building would capture the ether energy and disperse it as your body creates energy and disperses it throughout the body.”
“Yeah, we've definitely had members of the tribe come get one on ones with you and things like that. We got the most thoughtful humans in this InnerVerse group. It's crazy cool.”
“I feel like once you have a system, a mental scaffolding that you can articulate through, your body will actually start sending you information in the terms of feelings and intuition that correspond to the system that you've taught yourself. So you actually gain a level of communication ability with your body by learning these type of systems, in my opinion.”
“Yeah, I'm wondering about the yoga series known as Warrior Poses. Do you know any mythology that corresponds with the movements and the transitions through?”
“We call every latent impression that wedges in your physical form and your energy form samskara, right? These are literally the scars of experience. And when you do these practices, one of the things you're doing is you're burning some scars so that the seed no longer sprouts.”
“I prefer tropical. I feel that it's more accurate to life on Earth. Sidereal is a connecting principle that will help us see our place in connection to broader big picture things.”
“Yeah, it was great to see you again, Emily. This was awesome. This was really nice to have a whole Vibe Rant with you on the Wednesday show.”

Kyle and Serena Denton are community herbalists creating wild-crafted and organic plant medicines out of Milwaukee since 2015. I have used their teas and tinctures on an almost daily basis for years now. Kyle is a great friend of InnerVerse and has appeared on the channel more times than I can count. These products work, not in the allopathic "pharma-medicine" way, but in a terrain-support, consciousness bolstering plant-teacher sort of way.
