Core themes
Solstice Light and the Cancer Season Sky
Emily argued that the summer solstice marked the zenith of the light, and she stressed that this was literal, saying our bodies were made of light and that even the food we eat traced back to sunlight. She recommended a sun gazing practice. She described Cancer season as a time when both the sun and the moon were strong, and said a new moon at seven degrees Cancer would sit with Black Moon Lilith. Emily presented Lilith as the dark feminine and taught that facing darkness bravely leads toward joy.
Full Moon Fallout and the April Conjunction
Emily recapped the previous day's full moon, which she said squared Neptune and grew out of the Neptune Jupiter conjunction in April. She argued that people were releasing jobs, relationships and ideas that no longer fit, and that mutable signs were being cleared most. One of the hosts asked whether she had tracked the Schumann Resonance, and Emily replied that she had not studied it much, though she liked resonance and had researched seismic resonance when she was young. The hosts traded notes on how wild the day felt.
Sacral Chakra Clearing Through Mirror Gazing
Emily argued that a collective sacral chakra clearing had been under way since April, and that pleasure, creativity and self worth depended on a healthy second chakra. Her main suggestion was mirror gazing alone, looking into the left eye for the feminine side and the right eye for the visionary side while breathing into the sacral area. She cautioned that less is more and that purification should be given time to settle. Mario called the practice completely sound and a reminder that everything a person needs is already within.
Do Planetary Myths Shape Our Lives
Chance wondered aloud whether the mythology applied to the sky clock influences how our lives develop, comparing language to an operating system that is useful when it is a good one. Emily answered that, according to the traditions she follows, humans control nothing and our agency derives from one underlying force. She said it was not the visible Jupiter controlling anyone but an internal Jupiter moving at the same pace, and she tied the Lord's Prayer to lining up with the sky clock. Chance said he saw it the same way.
Serpents, Seven, and the North Star
The conversation circled through snake symbolism. Emily linked the snake to Scorpio and the Kundalini power, one of the hosts tied certain tarot keys and the caduceus to serpent imagery, and a host argued that Moses, Messiah and snake oil share a Hebrew root. Later, a host explained that the number seven had been woven to the North because both dippers have seven stars, and noted that Black Moon Lilith sat at seven degrees of Cancer. Emily said seven meant victory in the occult sciences and cautioned against meditation practices that pull consciousness out of the body.
Quotes
“It is so good to be here again. Wednesday night always comes around too slow because it's probably the most fun day of the week.”
“I'm an astro yoga person, and so I always am reminding the yoga students and the yoga teachers that it's literal, right? It's a literal physiological thing. Like our entire bodies are made of light. You could say it's made of vibration or sound.”
“One of the ways that we create enjoyable lives is by courageously and fearlessly looking into the darkness because that is what catapults us into courage, joy, and higher states of wellbeing.”
“So the main thing I have been suggesting to people recently is to do mirror gazing. And I don't mean like look at the mirror and check your teeth or your hair, but one of the issues I think with sacral chakras stuff is people have been trained to maybe not embody their sacral chakras, but rather show them only as performative.”
“We live in a world where people are doing other people's rituals and spells and using their sigils and charging their magic and things like that, you know? So just the idea of looking at yourself in the mirror as a practice, to me that's completely sound.”
“It's not the same as a hand on the heart looking at your left eye and you're like, oh my God, who is living inside of me? Right? It transcends you from your body consciousness while holding you in it.”
“I know I bring everything back to tuning, but the tuning process I do, I consider it to be completely conceptual and not necessarily concrete. And I think that like any other language, once you have the language, it becomes the operating system and it's useful if it's a good operating system.”
“It's interesting because according to these traditions, we control nothing. There's a force, which is the one force in the universe, which is coming through us.”
“It's not that external Jupiter that you can see sometimes in the sky is controlling you. It's that internal Jupiter, which moves at the same pace as external Jupiter, is urging you forward.”
“Many people go to yoga and they're like, I just want to raise my Kundalini. And then they artificially raise it and don't integrate it. And then crazy things happen to them, right?”
“I was gonna throw the quote out. And I don't know who this quote belongs to, but science progresses one funeral at a time.”
“Emily, you're welcome back anytime. As I've said, even if it's not like you're the honored guest of the week, I bring in my homies to help me out every Wednesday. And you're totally welcome on the roster of regulars like Gabriel and Mario here.”
“I did a video on dice because I'm doing tarot readings and I really like to throw dice to pull the cards. And for me, it's interesting and there's a correspondence with Mercury.”
