The Music of the Spheres, In the Key of Astrology with Jorge Mesa & LC King
Tonight we revisit the occultism of musical theory, with the host of Third Eye Edify, Jorge Mesa. Supporting us with a battery of astro-geometrical perspectives, LC King is also in the mix. Jorge and Lucas have been cooking up many expansive insights since Jorge presented his research on InnerVerse, and tonight's episode will be a feast of fantastic fractal apprehensions.

Core themes
Geometry Hidden in the Names of Gods
LC King presented slides drawn largely from David Fideler's book Jesus Christ, Sun of God, arguing that the Greek number values of Apollo, Hermes, Zeus and Jesus came out of the vesica piscis and the square roots of two, three and five. He claimed the arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means produced those values, so the numbers came first and the names followed. He also said Hermes and Apollo were reciprocals of one another, underscoring their brotherhood. One participant compared the myth of Hermes stealing Apollo's cattle to an early courtroom trial with Zeus as judge.
The Tritone as Center and Pillar
Jorge Mesa explained that the tritone, three whole steps, was the most dissonant interval available from two notes, yet he argued its dissonance had purpose because it created motion and made the ear expect a resolution. He added that each key had only one unique tritone. LC King placed F sharp at the rest point between the fourth and the fifth on the keyboard and called it the mediator between sun and moon. Jorge likened that central role to an ionic pillar holding everything together, while LC tied it to the geometric mean between the fourth and the fifth.
Pure Fifths and the Length of a Year
Jorge Mesa said that every pitch carried an overtone series and that stacking twelve pure fifths drawn from it closed a circle of about 365.04 degrees, which he set beside the 365.24 days of a year, while equal temperament gave a flat 360. He argued that the modern 440 standard had removed music from its natural intervals, and he said stacking pure fifths resembled the year more than a perfect 360 degree circle did. One participant replied that the length of a year was not exactly the same every time, since nature never repeated itself exactly.
Zodiac, Color and Chakra Correspondences
LC King laid twelve notes around a wheel as a zodiac, first placing the tritone and octave at the solstices and later moving them to the equinoxes. He layered cyan, magenta and yellow over the wheel so that the tritone turned green, which he linked to the heart chakra, and he said the middle of his triangle matched the solar plexus. One participant noted that Biofield Tuning practitioners usually pair tuning forks with chakras in a different order, while others praised the attempt to give note and color pairings a logic.
Wordplay, Enneagram and Information Stacking
Gabe (Slick Dissident) said the Enneagram had become his focus, citing an LC King video on one divided by seven whose repeating digits avoided the three, six and nine. Later in the show, one participant swapped a letter so that wind became mind, linking air to mind, and another added that water became matter. A further speaker described information stacking and the loss of a firm basis. Jorge Mesa said he planned an Amanita muscaria episode and had just released one touching on Macbeth, Francis Bacon and propaganda.
Quotes
“Gabriel, the slickest of all dissidents who can do the splits in his PJs. And we got Jorge Mesa of Third Eye Edify podcast. He is returning to the channel, but it's his first Vibe Rant after that incredible music theory episode that he gave us all that great research. I was like, I need you to start talking to Lucas and create another amazing conversation for us.”
“LC dropped a little video on me about a week ago about the math magic of one divided by seven and how that reveals the repeating pattern of the one, two, four, five, seven, and eight of the Enneagram, and it avoids the three, six, nine.”
“And then the animals, which is basically the Zodiac, the Zodiac means circle of animals or animal circle. And so the animals would walk around that and that would be representative of the seasons or the hours and the stars as well.”
“The typical major scale that we use, the Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do that everyone's familiar with, is constructed of whole and half steps or whole tones. And these are also known as major and minor seconds. Picture on a fretboard, if you go one fret it's a half step. If you go two frets, it's a whole step.”
“They're geometrical names to help you understand where they are musically and how they relate to each other. So the values came first geometrically and the names are then applied secondarily. So you work out a name based on the numbers that you have.”
“But what I did was apply the Septenary Cipher to the keyboard and it has 13 steps. So it will go from a C to a C and then you find out where the rest point is in the keyboard and it turns out to be an F sharp, which is extremely important because it's sort of both sides of the fourth and the fifth.”
“But with a tritone, there's dissonance and this dissonance has purpose. It's dissonance that creates motion as if the wheel is moving because of this tritone. And as a result of a tritone, your ear, your musically trained or not, your ear is actually gonna expect to hear something after you play a tritone.”
“Because of course, we are actually manipulating the perception of time when we play music, we can play slow or fast. And if the listener knows the song or melody, you can change their perception of time, you can push and pull on the speed of a melody. So if someone's familiar with it, they'll expect a certain speed. And you can actually play with that.”
“And so the tritone and green, you know, automatically took me to the heart chakra, which is again is between the eight and the nine. So in this triangular layout, which is exactly where you see this, see the tritone turn up actually. And from the previous sort of work, I realized that the middle of the triangle or the 13 was the solar plexus.”
“The center would be the ionic pillar or the one or what we call the tonic. That's the note that the song is based on. We're in the key of C major and everything else dances around it. Every other note that's available to you that is not the tonic. They all are technically dissonant. Every single one of them, once the key is established, they all want to come back home to that place of rest, the tonic, the ionic pillar.”
“For the origin and completion are both in your care. The cause of the blooming of all things, with your resonant lyre, you harmonize the entire axis of the heavens. At one time, advancing to the lowest pitch and at another to the highest, at times in the Dorian mode, you temper the entire axis. You keep the tribes of living creatures distinct.”
“So the one seven has been on my radar for a long time going back to when we did the last show with LC King in the aspect of the 17th triangular number is 153. That's the number of the fish in the net.”
