Dan Shukis | The Great Conjunction, The Great Reset & The Aquarian Age

Dan Shukis is the host of an excellent podcast called Cosmic Keys, where he provides astrology updates and interviews guests on a wide variety of metaphysical topics. For his second visit to InnerVerse, we spoke about the upcoming Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in the sign of Aquarius on 12/21/2020. We also explore how current sociopolitical events and developments in technology bring context to how the next 200 years might play out, as we each make the choice between Saturnian enslavement or Uranian freedom.

Core themes

5 themes
1

Two Faces of Aquarian Freedom

Dan reads the Age of Aquarius as a paradox that is not all negative, since its basic theme is the unique individual connected to a larger whole, and he floats a libertarian techno-communalism in which people consent to pool resources and escape the nine-to-five. Chance answers that the same age offers either freedom from responsibility or freedom through total personal responsibility, and he hopes more people notice that the freedom they are chasing may be freedom from freedom. Together they treat the dark and bright sides of Aquarius as a choice rather than a fate.

2

The Great Conjunction Opens an Air Era

Dan explains that Saturn and Jupiter meet every twenty years and that, after roughly two centuries of conjunctions in earth signs, the December meeting begins a long run in air signs, which he reads as a turn from factories and shipping toward servers, Wi-Fi and information. He recalls a brief air sign preview around 1980, with the birth of the internet and a robotic, synthetic feel, and compares the coming era to the Industrial Revolution and talk of a Fourth Industrial Revolution. Chance notes that during the earth sign centuries someone laid claim to every inch of land.

3

Saturn Squares Uranus in 2021

Dan sketches a 2021 in which Saturn in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus, with tyrannical control of the digital sphere challenged by an earth-based, off-the-grid revolutionary spirit, and he sets Uranus as Prometheus, the spark and the rebel, against Saturn's restriction. He adds a fork for Uranus in Taurus, either government dependency or the power of your own ingenuity. Chance answers that the way to avoid Saturn's bad contracts is to write your own by setting boundaries, becoming your own disciplinarian before an outside one steps in.

4

Beyond Left and Right Titles

In his closing, Chance thanks Dan for fearlessly saying what he thinks, then argues that party labels are nouns rather than who anyone is, and that he sees one bird of tyranny flapping two wings, left and right, one at a time. He calls the institutions behind this leviathans that devour attention and funnel it into ever more divisive topics. He then parses controversy as contra and verse, two songs that do not harmonize, and describes the political moment as dissonance.

5

Terraforming, the Great Reset and Expansion

Chance recaps the idea that if the Earth is being terraformed and we are a fractal hologram of it, then our bodies are being terraformed too, and he adds that you are a verb rather than a noun, just as nature is. He plays a clip of James Corbett and Del Bigtree discussing the Great Reset, including Klaus Schwab's video pitch, and argues that its choice between social unrest and a new social contract is a veiled threat. He contrasts that contraction with expansion and plays out with LSDREAM.

Quotes

8 quotes
“The basic theme of Aquarius is you as the unique individual connected to and in a piece of the larger whole. So that's not all negative.”
“All I see is the same bird of tyranny with two wings, and it just flaps them one at a time.”
“Uranus is like Prometheus. It's the spark, the explosion, the rebel that wants nothing but independence, and that's a paradox.”
“What's a controversy? Contra is against, opposing, and verse is like a song or words. So if you try to play two songs that don't harmonize at the same time, you're going to get controversy.”
“I'm seeing 2021 as being the clampdown in the digital sphere being challenged by this Earth-based revolutionary spirit, which I think is going to be people being off the grid.”
“You're not a noun, you're not a status, you're not a name or a description or a title, you're a verb. And that's what nature is, too.”
“There's two ways that this could possibly manifest for you, this Uranus in Taurus. It either could be on the government dependency or on the power of your own ingenuity.”
“The best thing that you can do with magic, which is just another form of art or language, is to change your mind about something, change how you feel about something.”

Kyle and Serena Denton are community herbalists creating wild-crafted and organic plant medicines out of Milwaukee since 2015. I have used their teas and tinctures on an almost daily basis for years now. Kyle is a great friend of InnerVerse and has appeared on the channel more times than I can count. These products work, not in the allopathic "pharma-medicine" way, but in a terrain-support, consciousness bolstering plant-teacher sort of way.
