Mark Gober | Contacting “Alien” Intelligence: Mysteries of Life Generation and Consciousness

If "Aliens" were just nuts-and-bolts travelers from a distant galaxy, why do their encounters behave exactly like shamanic journeys, near-death experiences, and ancient folklore?

Mark Gober (Author of An End to Upside Down Contact) returns to InnerVerse to dismantle the materialist lie of the UFO phenomenon. We move past the "little green men" narrative to explore the terrifying and transformative reality of the Contact Phenomenon. From the forensic DNA analysis of "Alien Hair" to the disturbing reality of Phantom Pregnancies and Screen Memories, we reveal why these beings aren't just visiting; they are native to the human psyche.

Core themes

1

Why Contact Is Not Just Fantasy

Gober does not deny that some accounts are fabrication, delusion, planted disinformation or false memory, but he argues the sheer breadth of reports defeats a blanket dismissal. He describes a Venn diagram of overlapping circles: near death experiences, channeling, remote viewing, shared death experiences in which a living person accompanies someone who is dying, and craft related encounters. He divides the field into non UFO contact, usually occurring inside consciousness, and UFO related contact, and points to the anthology Beyond UFOs by Ray Hernandez, Jon Klimo and Rudy Schild, where 75 percent of experiencers reported seeing more than three non human intelligences aboard a craft.

2

Hybrids, Hair Samples and Phantom Pregnancies

Chance reads out a breakdown from Beyond UFOs: human looking beings at 48 percent, short grays 45, taller grays 33, other types 30, hybrids 20, insectoid or mantid and reptilian both at 13, spirits or ghost forms 10, and animal types under 5. Gober links that human looking majority to the hybridization programs described by Harvard psychiatrist John Mack and Temple associate professor David Jacobs, whose book Walking Among Us claims hybrids pass undetected in society. He recounts Bill Chalker's The Hair of the Alien, in which Peter Khoury kept a hair after an encounter, and Mack's writing on phantom pregnancies whose fetuses vanish.

3

The Line Between Physical and Non Physical

Gober argues the split between nuts and bolts craft and inner experience only holds inside a physicalist paradigm. If reality is what Rupert Spira calls modulations of consciousness, he says, nothing is strictly physical and the distinction becomes arbitrary, which is why he thinks the televised UFO hearings keep leaving the consciousness piece out. He cites remote viewer John Vivanco, whom he interviewed on his podcast Where Is My Mind, reporting a burn on his body while viewing the firebombing of Dresden, plus telesomatic cases where one identical twin is burned and the other's body registers it. Chance describes his own bilocation.

4

Screen Memories, Egregores and Glowing Raccoons

The idea Gober says he still cannot get past is screen memories, the possibility that whatever people meet can install an inaccurate memory of itself. He points to Mike Clelland's research on witnesses who see an owl, deer or raccoon, lose hours, then under hypnosis report a gray alien instead. He extends that doubt to near death figures such as Jesus, Buddha or, in one case Chance highlights, Gandalf, raising the egregore question of collective belief manifesting a form. Chance adds the Buddhist tulpa. Gober cites Nobel laureate Kary Mullis, who reported a glowing raccoon saying good evening, doctor, then six missing hours.

5

Life Reviews and a Layered, Benevolent Cosmos

Against the claim that every positive encounter is a psyop, Gober offers cases he finds hard to dismiss: a woman whose deceased grandfather named her infections in Latin during surgery, Anita Moorjani's recovery from terminal cancer after a coma, and Dannion Brinkley, who in life reviews became the men he killed in Vietnam, became a hospice volunteer, then later felt the comfort he had given the dying. Life reviews appear in roughly 20 to 25 percent of cases. He notes Eben Alexander and Bruce Greyson, whose book After calls this natural law, and argues even the Nag Hammadi demiurge sits inside a larger benevolence.

Quotes

8 quotes
“But for all the inadmissible woo, devious disinformation and conflicting cosmologies around the alien question, there are more bizarre consistencies between experiencers than one might realize from a shallow glimpse of these phenomenon.”
“I don't know what's real myself, but I'm going to aggregate and survey what people have said about these various phenomenon.”
“It seems like the phenomenon is native to here, from my opinion, or native to consciousness itself, which is here, there and everywhere.”
“It's possible that many of us have had, quote unquote, abduction accounts or had accounts with entities and just don't have an ability to recall what happened.”
“I bilocated, didn't know I was doing it, but I was laying down in one place and thought that I got up and walked somewhere else.”
“The implication here is that whatever beings people encounter have an ability to create a memory of what we saw of them that's not accurate.”
“As much as we want to talk about enslavement and psyops and shape-shifters that are trying to trick us, the bigger context is ultimately benevolent.”
“Even learning about these topics or the possibility that there's reality to any of it has been extremely mind-expanding for me in a positive way.”

Author and consciousness researcher

Mark Gober is an author and speaker who researches the intersection of consciousness, near-death experiences, and UFO/contact phenomena, arguing in his book "An End to Upside Down Contact" that such experiences arise from consciousness rather than physical extraterrestrial visitation.

Tippecanoe Herbs

Kyle and Serena Denton are community herbalists creating wild-crafted and organic plant medicines out of Milwaukee since 2015. I have used their teas and tinctures on an almost daily basis for years now. Kyle is a great friend of InnerVerse and has appeared on the channel more times than I can count. These products work, not in the allopathic "pharma-medicine" way, but in a terrain-support, consciousness bolstering plant-teacher sort of way.
