Core themes
Living Inside Seven Star Forts
Mike Wilkerson, who posts as Stellium 7 from the Costa Blanca between Valencia and Alicante, traces his research back to two images Slick Dissident raises early, the star fort sitting in plain sight on the cover art of Thomas Hobbes's Leviathan, and the battle of Behemoth and Leviathan he met through Mud Fossil University. Wilkerson says he learned about star forts roughly seven years ago and then realized he had lived inside seven of them, in Siena, in Padua with its claimed 850 year old university and its Galileo connection, in Rome, and in several Swedish towns, while a researcher he calls 13th Monkey has mapped around 10,000 worldwide.
Meteor Showers as Stage Actors
Slick Dissident lays out his own reading of the sky, arguing that the South Taurid meteor shower runs up the back of the constellation Cetus, fades at the ecliptic plane, pauses a couple of days, then reappears as the North Taurids above that plane, with the peak window falling around November 5, election week, once the Samhain monsters have cleared the streets. He reads Leviathan as the naval and more democratic form of government and Behemoth as the land based and oligarchic one, and later tracks Perseus through the zodiac, placing the cut on Medusa and the release of Pegasus at the crossing from Capricorn into Aquarius.
Heart Stones and Helical Hearts
Wilkerson's second line of work is the heart stone, a rock he contends carries the specific morphology of a petrified heart, the propeller twist at the base, the knife edge on the thinner ventricle, the creases where the fibers meet. He credits the Spanish cardiologist Francisco Torrent Guasp, who boiled and bluntly dissected hearts to expose the myocardial ventricular band, work a clip in the show dates to 1972. Guasp lived in Denia on the foothills of Montgo and died seventeen years ago, and Slick Dissident describes gathering enough heart shaped stones from his own yard to ring a grandmother tree.
The Elephant Is the Room
The spine of the episode is Montgo, the mountain beside Wilkerson's house that he argues reads as a roughly three mile long, one mile tall petrified elephant, built out over a video series and what he counts as fifty plus coincidences, among them a river he calls the Gata de Gorgos, road of the Gorgon, and the prime meridian passing through the mountain. Slick Dissident adds his upside down periodic table of elephants and the story of Parvati and Ganesha, Chance Garton reads the elephant as an animal medicine of memory, and a Google AI result invents a fantasy series called Standing on Titans by Stellium 7.
Quality Over Quantity
The opening and the close circle one idea. Chance Garton and Wilkerson each describe stepping back from constant output, Wilkerson to finish a book he cut a hundred pages from, and Garton links it to his recent episode with Mario of Symbolic Studies on Rene Guenon's The Reign of Quantity and the Signs of the Times, which argues that the age inverts quality and quantity and puts matter above essence. Garton quotes Guenon on philosophers who more or less destroy each other mutually, Wilkerson offers the Swedish idea of lagom, and the book is revealed as The Hacker Prince, his account of a 1985 arrest.
