Core themes
Rob Edward's Path From Acting to Podcasting
Rob Edward described a lifelong wish to act and make films, which led him to study in England and graduate in 2016. He said a short film he made back home reached about 3.5 million views and played festivals on nearly every continent, yet he walked away from the industry after growing disillusioned with it. Rob credited friends and teachers with steering him toward podcasting, and he recalled a coach friend advising him to keep asking how he could create value for others. He urged listeners to put action behind their thoughts and take the jump.
Film and Narrative as Cultural Tools
Rob argued that people believe they think logically but actually think in narrative, and he claimed that stories wrapped in emotion carry beliefs that are hard to dislodge. One speaker called film a gap in the community and offered to workshop a short screenplay. Rob said he and Pat Bailey had drafted a feature film idea, but he noted that production is costly and estimated a camera rental at about three thousand dollars a day. Another speaker argued there was room for more polished work and that entertaining stories reach people better than dry ones, and Rob agreed there was a real need.
Free Will, Spirit, and Etheric Beings
Rob recalled floating the idea that beings on higher planes might lack free will, and he said a conversation on his show had pushed back on it. One speaker then argued that spirit and free will are synonymous, that water carries memory, and that nonphysical beings might take on the qualities of whoever channels them rather than being innately good or bad. Another speaker used a chakra chart to claim that an etheric, sulfur side sits above the carbon line while a crystal, salt side governs structure and manifestation in the physical world.
Marketing, Money, and Valuing Your Work
Rob asked what the group thought about marketing and making money while offering real value, and the speakers largely saw no conflict. Chance said he should study what the best people in the field do and admitted he had not promoted his affiliates well enough. Rob said a video sales letter built from clips of George Wiseman's show raised AquaCure sales on his own show by 460 percent in a month, and he argued that an ethical business needs to thrive. Other speakers said spiritual workers should not feel guilty for charging and that people pay for streaming but balk at paying for research.
Bank Signatures, Local Food, and Convenience
Gabe argued that the signature line on a personal check, seen under a magnifying glass, repeats the words authorizing agent, and he claimed this showed each person acts through more than one agency. He said a bank teller once distinguished a signature from an autograph, which he read as the straw man versus the living man. Rob, who once worked at a bank, said staff simply followed procedure and that much of the harm in the system was structural rather than personal, using a winter banana in Canada as his example. Another speaker argued that people should eat food grown where they live and that convenience carries hidden costs.
Quotes
“You have to jump. You don't get that safety net of knowing how far down it's going to be before you kind of hit bottom or whatever.”
“But the idea of being able to set fire to your life and just go for it is the basis of every hero's journey. It's the basis of every movie that we watch and everything like that. But yet people think they just show it on TV and it's not what we're supposed to do, but we're supposed to be learning from those things.”
“But people think they think logically, but they actually think in narrative, and they can't differentiate the two. Like we're being kind of told that we're being logical when we listen to these people who are touted as experts and all that kind of stuff. And people think that that's the case, but they're actually being narratively drawn out into these psyops.”
“It was sort of like being able to connect with the people who would have never found it, had it not been me starting. And then now they have another understanding of, you know, God, Creator, the Earth, the shape of the Earth, all these different things. That's more important to me than anything else.”
“There's the idea of understanding when you're being lied to, so you know what the truth is. That's what I really love about Dylan's work too, he's just dispelling lies. He's not telling you what he thinks or what his opinion is on X, Y and Z. It's more like, here's exactly how they are structuring the lie in front of you.”
“I think if you have a business that's ethical and moral, it's imperative that you're thriving and you're crushing because if you're not, then no one can have the value of which you can provide. So what's the point of it?”
“To want to go and follow this path and be such an honorable and true person, and want to bring back that lifestyle and integrity and just good things, that to me, for somebody that could have been so successful, because you obviously could have been, brother, so successful in their system, for you to reject that anyways, to me that's so much more. It just always amazes me.”
“I just wanted to say, in case you didn't realize it because you're having questions, you're appreciated, Rob Edward, and we need guys like you in the community more. That's all I wanted to say.”
“It confirms that your agency is more duplicitous than you may have first presumed. And while you thought everything was straightforward and you are who you say you are, there is this other layer of confirmation required.”
“I love this. It feels like we are becoming our own breakaway civilization and that is a glorious thing to be a part of.”
“There's a time and a place for doing it your own way and just getting your feet off the ground. But at a certain point, how long have you gone? I'm asking myself this question. How long have I gone without learning something new, without putting in the time to find out what the best way to do something that I'm doing is?”
“I remember when I started my show, I had this idea that everybody knows something that nobody else knows or thinks thoughts that nobody else has thought.”
