Howdy Mickoski: The Multiverse Is Real, Khonsu's Temple & Holographic Layers Hidden in Plain Sight

Howdie Mickoski returns to InnerVerse for his second appearance, and this one covers more ground than the first. The opening thread alone, whether the Carrington Event of 1859 actually happened, or was seeded into history after the year 2000 to prime humanity for a coming grid-down narrative, sets the tone for an hour of careful questioning of what we think we know.

Topics: the Carrington Event as possibly fabricated history and what it might be conditioning us to expect; the spiritual multiverse as a lived experience, Howdie's direct perception of parallel lives and what that means for how we understand skill, memory, and identity; how a simulation designed for maximum experience would naturally run millions of simultaneous versions of you; free energy architecture and the mercury vortex engine theory, how magnetically resonant cathedrals and iron-threaded buildings may have harvested etheric energy perpetually; Howdie's visit to the Temple of Khonsu at Karnak and what he perceived in the holographic layers behind the carved reliefs; why Moon Knight arriving as a Disney series at this exact moment is stranger than it looks; and the gift economy as a practical alternative to the monetary exchange trap.

1

A Solar Storm Missing From the Record

Howdie opens with his video on the Carrington event, the solar storm said to have struck in 1859, knocking out telegraph lines worldwide and lighting the skies like an aurora. He relays another researcher's search of old Encyclopaedia Britannica editions back to 1879 that list Carrington the astronomer but never the event, and says people who checked September 1859 newspapers found nothing. His question is why a story that barely surfaces before 2000 is being revived now, and he suggests it is being primed for future talk of power grid failure. Chance hears a self-referential loop with no foundation and wonders whether mass belief helps make such things possible.

2

Painted Curtains and Plato's Cave

When the talk turns to Plato's Cave, Howdie reaches for the history book he is writing alongside his Plato's Cave project. A Last Supper in the main gallery in Nantes sets the table as a twisted square and frames the scene with two curtains pulled aside, and on his first visit to the Sistine Chapel he ignored the ceiling to study walls painted with curtains. He reads both as the theater of Plato's Cave and the veil of Isis, where the task is to open the curtains. Painted curtains add a twist, since parting them would only meet a wall, yet Howdie guesses hours of meditative staring might dissolve them.

3

A Second Relief Behind the First

Howdie describes sitting about an hour and a half in a side room of the seldom visited Temple of Khonsu at Karnak, where guards who knew him from repeat visits left him alone. The wall shimmered like a heat mirage and a different relief appeared, a more feminine scene with different hieroglyphs, for ten or fifteen minutes before the original returned. He concluded the carvings were made holographically in layers reached through one's state of being. Chance links this to defocusing the gaze, wonders whether the artists carved an astral version in dream time, and notes that Disney's Moon Knight gives Khonsu an avatar who sees layers others miss.

4

Tapping the Selves You Might Have Been

Talk of avatars opens onto the multiverse. Howdie says he has experienced himself living other lives, with different jobs and marriages, each a small turn away from this one, and argues a simulation would run many versions to gather experience, though no version of him becomes the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. He suspects some vivid dreams are bleed from those lives. Chance asks whether we could borrow the mastery of a self who spent a lifetime painting, and Howdie runs with it, picturing fixing a car by tapping a self who knows mechanics. Chance's outro adds a reservation: reality is one, so how can a universe hold a multiverse?

5

Cathedrals, Iron and the Stone Circle Hotspot

Howdie's World's Fair research began on a 2019 trip to Florence studying cathedrals as energy structures. He describes energy drawn down through domes, towers and copper and up from sites built over older temples, meeting and circling the side aisles, with the organ steering it out through rose windows he reads as cymatic patterns and iron balconies drawing it into homes. Chance suggests iron reinforced columns held a constant magnetic field and wonders about mercury engines spinning in octagonal cavities. Howdie adds that in the fifty or sixty Norwegian stone circles he has visited, one spot always runs strongest, and nearly everyone he tests picks the same one.

Quotes

8 quotes
“We're seeing what's being projected onto the screen over and over and over again. We're seeing the veil of Isis, and the trick is, can you open the curtains?”
“You create a bunch of fictional self-referential loops in popular culture back to this one idea. But when you dig to the origin of the idea, it doesn't seem to have any actual foundation.”
“There's not just one layer to these things. They've actually holographically made them in several layers onto the stone somehow, and that, depending on your state of being, you can access deeper and deeper levels.”
“Maybe it's not so much that we're trapped or in a prison planet, but we just forgot how to expand our consciousness to be localized in other layers of the body.”
“It would make sense that there would be a million of us having a million different lives, because you would then have one million times the experience rather than just one life, one shot.”
“Each of us has a type of way that we explore ourselves and reality. Mine just happens to be writing with a pen on paper.”
“How can there be that which is beyond nature, if nature is all of existence? And in much the same way, how can there be a multiverse in a universe?”
“It's one thing to just get somebody something. It's another thing to get somebody something that they need.”
