The Secret Language of Water: Proof of an Intelligent Memory with Veda Austin

Water isn't just a resource; it’s a living library. What if the water you drink is actually reflecting your thoughts, your dreams, and the very structure of your soul?

Veda Austin joins Chance Garton to unveil her groundbreaking research into "Hydroglyphs", recognizable and repeatable symbols that she says show water has memory. From the "Fourth Phase" of water to its mysterious connection to ancient alphabets and the human biofield, we dive into the fluid intelligence that connects all life.

Three Ways Water Designs in Ice

Veda has studied water for nine and a half years, specialising in crystallography at the subtle stage between liquid and solid that Gerald Pollack calls the fourth phase of water and that she calls the state of creation. Opening the freezer after about five minutes and draining off the liquid layer, she finds water designing in three ways: signature patterns that repeat for tap, spring, rain and filtered water; art, since she says art is the heart of water; and hydroglyphs. When she circulated 25 ice photographs in an anonymous online survey, she reports, 85 percent of respondents recognised what each sample had been exposed to before freezing.

2

Fifty Repeats Before a Symbol Counts

A hydroglyph, in Veda's definition, is a symbol in ice that is both recognisable and repeatable. The idea took shape with Stairway to Heaven: after playing the song beside her petri dish about twelve times she kept seeing a stairway shape, so she wrote the word stairway, set the dish on it for thirty seconds, and has now seen that shape more than fifty times. Because every glyph must repeat fifty times, four and a half years have produced only 36. Days of the week refused to render, she says, and the one time frame water has given her is before and after Easter, a date set by the moon.

3

Water as a Witness, Not a Judge

Veda's father is Māori, and she notes that the Māori word for spirit, wairua, means two waters, the physical and the spiritual, both of which she believes we carry. The more she observes, the more the spiritual side of water seems a witness that does not judge. That conviction was tested when her teenage son, who liked neither classical music nor heavy metal, saw Masaru Emoto's contrasting images and worried that the water hated him. She told him water's nature is not to judge, then began freezing samples set beside every genre of music, and says water cares more about what you feel than what you think.

4

Did the First Alphabets Come From Ice

Chance argues that the savior figure found across traditions is credited with giving humanity its letters and that versions of him carry water in their names, Bacchus among them. He notes the Etruscans called their gods by a name with the word ice inside it, and wonders whether ice taught people their first flowing, curving alphabets. Veda answers that when she asked water what a hydroglyph is, it replied in hydroglyphs, calling them living messages. She recalls a dream, years before this work began, of an arched ice tunnel in Antarctica lined with shapes like an ancient script, and the talk turns to emojis as the hieroglyphs of today.

5

Light, Dreams and Life Beyond the Body

Veda describes water as mostly photons, a liquid light, and calls people liquid crystal solar panels. For three months she left a petri dish of water by her bed and froze it on waking, and she says the ice images often jogged her memory of dreams she had forgotten, which she links to astral travel and remote viewing. She cites three near death interviewees who each described watching their own resuscitation without attachment, and an experiment Pollack presented in which water in a chicken's body kept flowing for up to an hour after its heart was stopped. Chance closes by wondering whether, if water holds memory, blood does too.
